A word from the artist:

Somebody outside of the band suggested we cover Lesley Gore, who was raised in Tenefly, NJ. The band narrowed the list down to a few songs that we all liked including Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows, The Look Of Love and It's My Party, her most well known song.

Drummer Scott Treude decided to take matters into his own hands and did a full demo of It's My Party at his home studio, playing drums, bass and guitar. The demo was so good that the drum and guitar tracks were kept, Paul Crane added a second guitar and some vocals, Paul Gil re-recorded the bass track and the song was finished!

Our hope was to cover the song faithfully but to add a guitar driven, power pop feel to it.

- Paul Crane
