about

I dropped out of college to pursue a music career but decided I wasn't really good enough at that so plan B was to go back to college. Was not accepted as a full time student...however, the college admitted me as "nonmatriculated"... meaning they would take my tuition, I could show up, and maybe if I did well enough they would take me in full time. So that word has stuck with me. This song has been kicking around - there are many rehearsals of the Successful Failures trying it out - who knows it could have been great for us. I like this version that Tom O'Grady (Dipsomaniacs - drums) and I recorded during the sessions I'm releasing as "Timothy Hay". I mixed this one myself so sorry about that.

lyrics

You can call me what you can't put your finger on
